How To Install

Step 1 — For seasonal winter closure, lower the water level to approximately 4 inches below the skimmer opening. For between-use coverage during the swim season, maintain your normal operating water level.

Step 2 — Unfold the cover on a clean surface adjacent to the pool. With a second person if available, lift the cover over the pool and position it centered over the water surface, confirming even overhang on all sides before securing.

Step 3 — Thread the heavy-duty nylon straps through the attachment loops around the perimeter of the reinforced hem. Route each strap beneath the pool's top rail to anchor it against the pool structure.

Step 4 — Connect each strap to its ratchet buckle tensioner and tighten by operating the ratchet lever. Work around the pool in sections, applying tension progressively rather than fully tightening one side at a time, to keep the cover centered as you secure it.

Step 5 — Complete a full perimeter check to confirm consistent tension, even overhang, and no areas of visible slack or bunching before leaving the cover in place.

Pro Tip: For winter storage on a large pool, use two round air pillows placed under the cover — one near the center and one offset toward the edge. Multiple pillows on a 30-foot pool surface create a more effective dome profile that distributes the weight of accumulated rainwater and snowmelt toward the perimeter rather than allowing it to pool heavily in one area and stress the cover seams.
